菊花种子：播种宜选用疏松、透气的介质。最好再用蛭石(其他介质覆盖也可以)覆盖，薄薄一层，以不见种子为度（约0.2厘米）。用现成的育苗快也好（推荐捷菲jiffy）。一穴2-3棵种子，放在温暖有光照的地方。播后保持18-20℃的温度，80-90%的湿度，5-8天发芽。当苗长有2-3片真叶即可移植一次。播种后12-14周开花。
