We have lift off! My cacti are germinating! The seeds were a mix of Saguaro, Prickly Pear, Cholla, Golden Barrel, Fishook Barrel, and Hedgehog Cactus.. I planted the seeds on March 31st under a OLEDA LED grow light purchased off amazon. It has a 18 red pieces and 6 blue pieces. I left the light on for most of the time. The first couple days I checked on them frequently thinking they would sprout quickly... i became discouraged from the lack of development and left them alone until today. They had white fluffy mold because of my neglect and cleaned them off as best as I could... I will leave the mini-greenhouse pot uncovered, monitor the moisture in the soil, and on the window sill from now on. Apparently, it could take 6 months to a year before I should re-pot them.
Today was rad. 🤠
